Farmers-entrepreneurs and owners of agricultural enterprises of Donetsk and Lugansk regions will receive subsidies from the state budget for the maintenance and breeding of cattle. At the same time, farmers in the Luhansk region will receive a subsidy for growing young animals on households of individuals three times more than their Donetsk counterparts.
We are talking about an amount of 9 million 700 thousand hryvnias, such a subsidy will go to Donetsk region in the amount of 3 million 970 thousand hryvnias.
Nearly 8 million hryvnias will be transferred from the state budget for keeping and raising cows in the Donetsk region to 17 agricultural enterprises. In the Luhansk region, this amount is half that amount - UAH 3.75 million.
Farmer Alexander Chaplik breed calves in his farm. Says he expects money for livestock.
“The last subsidy was last year, now I have several dozen calves, for this young animals I have to get money - 45 thousand hryvnias, I’m waiting for them,” said the farmer Alexander Chaplik. - A year and a half ago, they did not pay me for 16 goals, they said that the age of the calves is not suitable. When I get the money, I’m ready to register these calves in the official register. ”
The Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Donetsk Regional State Administration reported that the money should be received in the coming days, then it will be distributed to the applicants' accounts. In 2019, the amount of the subsidy for keeping cows is 900 hryvnias per head.
In general, 885 business entities will use state support in Ukraine for keeping more than 300 thousand cows.
