In Ukraine, only two seedless grape varieties are officially registered - Kishmish Tairovsky and Dream.
To replenish the autochthonous assortment of seedless varieties Institute of Viticulture and Winemaking named after V.E. Tairova took up their selection.
For this, 20 seedless varieties removed by genetic and geographical origin were selected, which were tested according to the main economic characteristics.

Among the varieties dominated by those that came from the United States. There were also seedless varieties of origin from Bulgaria, Ukraine, Serbia, Russia and Moldova.
Grapes Tairovsky
According to the test results of 2017-2018. Scientists previously identified promising varieties for further use in the breeding process that meet the following criteria:
- productivity - more than 12 t / ha;
- marketability - over 70%;
- the average mass of a bunch is more than 350 g;
- normal berries in a bunch - more than 90%;
- the average weight of the berry is more than 2 g;
- average berry size is more than 14 × 14 mm.
Among these seedless varieties: Flame seedless, Kishmish Tairovsky, Kishmish Radiant, Einset seedless, Venus, Jupiter, Marquis, Attika, Dream, Mermaid 3.
In the future, scientists will continue research to determine the manifestation of indicators in a variety of complex conditions of the growing season to confirm the stability of varieties by year.
