From October 29 to October 31 in the capital of the Altai Territory, the city of Barnaul, the International Specialized Exhibition of Agricultural Machinery, Equipment and Production Means for Plant Growing and Livestock "AgroExpoSiberia-2019" and the Forum "Agro-Industrial Complex of Siberia: Present and Future" were held.
AgroExpoSibir in 2019 has grown significantly, with 77 companies from Russia, Germany and Kazakhstan taking part in it. The number of visitors to the exhibition and the Forum increased by 60% compared to the previous year and amounted to 2,060 people. Participants, visitors and speakers from the Altai Territory, Tomsk, Kemerovo and Novosibirsk Regions, Moscow, Moscow and Belgorod Regions, Voronezh, Kazakhstan and Germany came to the exhibition and Forum.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition and the Forum was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Government of Altai Territory A.N. Lukyanov, General Director of the National Union of Beef Producers R.V. Kostyuk, Executive Director of the National Organic Union O.V. Mironenko, President of the Altai Processors Union V.V. Gachman, General Director of the analytical Center for the Study of the Dairy Market M.A. Mishchenko and General Director of LLC “DLG RUS” G.A. Mindru.

Entrance to the exhibition and forum was free., which means valuable events were available to everyone. Forum Objective - to disseminate the latest knowledge and best practices in the field of agriculture, has been implemented at 100%.

- The Forum was attended by 88 agricultural industry experts, including: leaders of National Unions (NSPG, NOS, NHA, Soyuzmoloko), Associations, agricultural universities, Biotechnology Centers, large companies and successful practitioners from farms predetermined the success of events and aroused interest among visitors .
- About 700 industry experts took part in the Forum.

The events of the Forum "Agricultural Complex of Siberia: Present and Future" aroused great interest among the visitors of the exhibition. On the first day of the exhibition, the Plenary session “Siberian Agro-Industrial Complex: Present and Future” (moderator M. Mishchenko, Director General of the Analytical Center for the Study of the Dairy Market), the conference “Digital Technologies in the Service of Agriculture” (moderator EA Zryumov, Minister) attracted the greatest interest digital development and communications of the Altai Territory) and the conference “Reserves for increasing the export of agricultural products in Siberia” (moderator VV Gachman - President of the Union of Grain Processors of the Altai Territory). At the round table "Growth of income of farmers in beef cattle breeding" to the event moderator R.V. Kostyuk and speakers had so many questions that the event had to be significantly extended in time.
The largest exhibition was the collective stand organized by the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture. He united a number of major German companies that presented modern technologies and equipment for plant growing and livestock.
On the second day of the exhibition, the largest number of visitors, 114 people, gathered a round table "Intensification of crop production: problems and prospects", the moderator of the event was A.A. Garkusha - Director, Federal Altai Scientific Center for Agrobiotechnology. Practical events were of great interest - the round table "Farm Management in Dairy Cattle Breeding" (moderator O.Yu. Babinets - Leading Consultant Manager at DeLaval) and the conference "Innovative Technologies and World Trends in the Treatment of Productive Animals" (moderator S.Yu. Kontsevaya - Head of the Center for Innovative Veterinary Medicine, Belgorod State Agrarian University named after V. Ya Gorin).
The value of the Forum was in the discussion of specific industry issues. At the events, they talked about the components of the success of effective animal husbandry, the technical modernization of the agro-industrial complex and how to effectively manage a dairy farm, how to feed and treat animals. She completed the Farmers School forum by Justas Walker, an American farmer who is involved in agriculture in the Altai Territory, namely, goat breeding, cheese production, sheep breeding and beekeeping, which covered the topic “Managing finances on a family farm”. Forum participants were able to learn from leading Russian and foreign experts, learn from successful practitioners about their experience in resolving contentious issues and problems that contribute to improving production efficiency in enterprises.
