The traditional land cultivation system at the Podolskaya Marka farm in the Khmelnitsky region led to soil compaction and delamination at some depths of 15-30 cm, and the ability to retain moisture was greatly reduced.
These conclusions were made in the farm "Podolsk Marka", which is engaged in the cultivation of crops in the Khmelnitsky region.
In addition, there was little biota and not enough calcium compounds in the soil. Therefore, in order to increase crop yields, the economy decided to gradually reduce the processing intensity and switch to a "minimum" with the prospect of "zero".
While the farm does not have all the necessary equipment, therefore, the theoretical part of the technology is mastered here - they visit other households and get acquainted with their experience. Also on their fields conduct comparative experiments sowing mixtures of cover crops to restore the structure and fertility of the soil.
In the Podolsk Mark, soil analyzes are gradually being carried out in their fields according to 18 indicators. From the results of the analysis, they learned about the deficiency of potassium, phosphorus and sulfur and made adjustments to the recharge system, taking into account the recommendations of the laboratory specialists.
