The National Fund offers its tenant farmers free access to the Prince’s Farm Resilience Program, which will help them improve their business skills.
The National Trust has entered into an agreement with the Farm Resilience Program to train 60 farm tenants in four areas of the UK.
The program offers free business skills training for family farms across the UK. Program participants will take part in a series of seven seminars on various business skills to maximize the profitability and sustainability of their business.The topics of the seminars include business planning, understanding of billing and budgeting, managing the farm environment and exploring new opportunities.
In addition, each farm will receive individual support from the Prince’s Farm Resilience Program to participate in a business performance verification tool that will analyze the strengths and weaknesses of their business and compare costs with similar farms.The Farmer Tenant Association (TFA) has already praised the initiative of the National Fund. At the end of the program, a special session will be organized to discuss the future policies of the National Fund with senior staff from the National Trust and TFA.
