Other stakeholders in the fruit fly eradication campaign include USAID Kenya's Dairy and Crop Production, United Nations Industrial Development Organization, TechnoServe, Rockefeller Foundation, Department of Agriculture, McWenney County Government, researchers, traders, and fruit farmers.
Campaign partners have announced a number of pest control measures that include maintaining general garden hygiene and deploying fruit fly traps and other integrated pest management methods.
Participants will work with communities of mango cooperatives to promote the adoption of best practices for integrated pest management among farmers.
