International industry event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the All-Russian Potato Research Institute named after A.G. Lorha "

From June 25 to June 27, 2020, the international industry event "Potato Industry 2020" will be held in Moscow. This event will be held as part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the All-Russian Research Institute of Potato named after A.G. Lorch.

Potato Industry 2020 It will become a communication platform for more than 700 figures of science and education, representatives of business, professional industry unions, public organizations, where they can present the results of their work, discuss new discoveries, the current state of the industry and trends in the development of the potato industry.

Potato Industry 2020 events will be held at venues Federal State Budgetary Institution "All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Potato Economy named after A.G. Lorch"

The most significant event in the framework of the "Potato Industry 2020" will be the International Scientific and Practical Congress: "The development of domestic potato growing on the basis of recent achievements in domestic and foreign science and practice."

• Thematic sessions of the Congress:
• Conservation and development of potato genetic resources;
• The development of molecular genetic technologies;
• Creation of new potato genotypes for various intended uses;
• Physiology and biochemistry of potatoes;
• Application of modern biotechnological methods in breeding and seed production of potatoes;
• Innovative technologies in the original potato seed production;
• Adaptively integrated plant protection system;
• Processing and storage of potatoes;
• Agrotechnologies and information management systems in potato growing;
• Organizational and economic development of potato growing: selection, seed production, storage and processing.

Congress materials will be published in publications included in the Scopus database (check publication conditions on the conference website). The deadline for abstract submission is February 1, 2020.

As part of the event, open lectures, master classes, as well as photo exhibitions are also planned. “Man of Labor” and “Man of Science”. Also, participants in the "Potato Industry 2020" will be able to visit the exhibition of scientific and technological achievements of the potato industry.
