According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, to date, Crimean farmers have managed to harvest grain from fields with a total area of fifty thousand hectares.
It is noteworthy that this indicator makes up eight percent of the planned cereal harvest areas.
It will not be amiss to add that among the leaders of the harvesting campaign were representatives of the agro-industrial complex of the Krasnogvardeisky district. They managed to thresh at least twenty-four thousand tons of cereals from the category of early ripening.
It is important to emphasize that such a volume of crop was obtained from territories with a total area of six thousand hectares. It is also reported that the yield indicator from these territories averaged forty-one centners per hectare.
The results of the activities of the participants in the harvesting process in Crimea were personally reviewed by Andrei Ryumshin, who heads the Peninsula’s Ministry of Agriculture. He visited agricultural enterprises of the Krasnogvardeisky district and during the course of his visit talked with employees of agricultural structures.
The minister concluded his stay in the region on a solemn note - he congratulated the most active machine operators on the successful implementation of the harvesting campaign and presented them with rewards for hard work and high professionalism, as well as for their contribution to the development of agriculture in the republic.
