Representatives of the administration of the Kartaly region, which is located in the Chelyabinsk region, informed that an emergency regime will be introduced in the territory entrusted to them.

The reason for this was a severe drought, which has been terrorizing the agricultural land of the region for quite some time.

Due to the negative effects of high air temperature, the scorching sun and moisture deficit, an expert working group was established in the Kartaly region. The list of priority tasks of this team included inspection of agricultural land and drawing up a general picture of the state of crops.

It will not be superfluous to note that today in the Chelyabinsk region as a result of a long drought, two operational provisions operate immediately - the emergency mode and the regime of increased fire danger.

It is also important to emphasize that at the moment, the soil on the agro-industrial land resources of the region is deprived of a productive moisture supply at a depth of up to ten centimeters. It is noteworthy that a year earlier the situation was much better.

Industry analysts are trying to calculate the damage caused by dry weather. There is no information on how long the emergency regime in the region will last. It is only known that the heads of the affected areas are authorized to cancel the current situation.
