In the autumn months of 2019, fruits and vegetables grown by Kyrgyz farmers will appear in the diet of Altai residents.
The first batch of apples, pears, onions and potatoes from Kyrgyzstan will appear on sale in the Altai market presumably in October. It is known that apples and pears, which will arrive in the amount of about two thousand tons from neighboring countries to Russia, will be sold on Altai trading floors at an average price of 26 rubles per kilogram package.
It is reported that only if the price of Kyrgyz fruits does not include moving empty wagons back to Kyrgyzstan, the supply of pears and apples from Central Asia will be beneficial for both suppliers and purchasers.Alexander Lukyanov, deputy head of the Altai Territory administration, is convinced that in response to inexpensive fruits and vegetables, the Russian Federation can send logging and similar materials to Kyrgyzstan. And the wagons in which Russian goods were exported can go back loaded with Kyrgyz fruits and vegetables.
It should be noted that Kyrgyzstan and Altai do not have common borders, however, trade between producers of these regions is growing every year more and more. Kyrgyz people are happy to buy Altai food and assure: if applications for certain vegetables come from Russia. Fruits and other goods, trade relations between the two countries will show even greater results.
