According to the State Statistics Service, domestic agricultural enterprises in January-August 2019 tons, compared with the same period last year.

However, sold for slaughter of animals in live weight was 9.8% more than last year (1.47 million tons).

Most of all, Ukrainian livestock enterprises increased the volumes of sheep and goats growing in live weight - by 16.9% (up to 1.7 thousand. And their sales for slaughter increased by 23.7% (1.7 thousand tons).

Over the indicated period, poultry in live weight grew by 11.1% more (1.06 million tons) than last year. And sold for the slaughter of these products by 11.6% more (1.03 million tons).

Ukrainian livestock farmers grew 2.8% more pigs in live weight than in the same period last year (352.3 thousand tons), and sold 2.8% more (331.2 thousand tons) for slaughter.

The largest gap in the rates of cultivation and sale in live weight of cattle. So, cattle were raised 0.9% less than last year (93.2 thousand tons), while sold for slaughter 15.5% more (106.8 thousand tons) than for the same last year period.
