Production companies of Rostov and its environs from January to March of the current year significantly reduced the production of meat products. According to market analysts, the decline in production is 46.1%.

As a result, farm facilities of various business categories managed to produce a little less than 61 thousand tons of live weight of farm animals and birds from the beginning of 2019 to the end of March.

Meanwhile, while the butchers of the Rostov Region are slowing down the pace of production, their dairy colleagues, on the contrary, are increasing their output. In the first three months of this year, they managed to produce about 177 thousand tons of milk, which is 0.6% higher than in the same period last year.

As for the production of chicken eggs, here the Rostov region, alas, cannot boast of excellent indicators - the production rate in this industry has decreased by 13% since the beginning of the year, and today it is known that from January to March 2019, Rostov laying hens gave the region 432.7 millions of eggs.

To cheer up agricultural producers in the Rostov region, the state intends to send about 45 billion rubles to the region from 2019 to 2030, so that local farmers and livestock farmers can more actively develop their production. Thus, the agricultural market will be regulated both within the region and beyond.
