Now, Ukrainian farmers will not cry. The Kakhovka Experimental Mechanical Plant has developed a plant for cleaning onions.
The company says that Ukraine still uses manual labor at enterprises that process onions. They hope that their development will help enterprises save time and increase workloads. According to the specialists of the plant, in one hour one person can peel no more than 10 kilograms of onion. If you cut only feathers and roots - 60 kilograms. That is, to process a ton of onions, it takes about 100 workers to clean and 20 workers to trim.
A machine developed by the Kakhov plant can process more than a ton in an hour - 1200 kilograms. Large, small, round or square - the machine cleans onions of all sizes and grades. The only thing that does not know how to cut roots and feathers. This is where people come in handy.
They plan to test development at the plant at the beginning of 2019.
